Hexatronic established a local presence in Germany through the foundation of Hexatronic GmbH in March 2018. Hexatronic GmbH operates in marketing and sale of Hexatronic’s FTTH system Matrix, comprising micro cables, micro ducts and network products. In November 2018 Hexatronic expanded on the German market via the acquisition of Opternus GmbH. Opternus GmbH operates in sales, training and service of fiber optic fusion splices and measurement equipment.

“Germany is one of our prioritized markets that we are convinced will experience continued growth for a long period of time. Therefore, we are pleased to have closed several FTTH businesses. A number of the contracts are pilot projects that we expect to develop to larger businesses in the next phase”, says Henrik Larsson Lyon, Hexatronic’s Chief Executive Officer.
